We are looking for stories that belong in the dark.

Dark Hours Books publishes crime, mystery, noir, historical crime, suspense, and thriller fiction.

Our list is deliberately selective. We are interested in distinctive voices, compelling characters, strong storytelling, and fiction with an unmistakable sense of place and identity. And that place is Los Angeles.

We’re particularly interested in underserved voices.
